To describe the fit of this shoe for me I would say that they were a bit tight at the toe. I have another pair of these shoes and they fit perfectly from the start. These will need to be stretches a bit which will make them more comfortable and more wearable for longer periods of time. So, my 'somewhat narrow' rating is for the ball of the foot and I would say, if I could, they were just a bit tight. The length of the shoe is as it should be. I like them!
