My husband is a knowitall - they all are. I've been mansplained more times than I care to remember. BUT, and I hope he never reads this review, in this case he was right.I bought this for my HK16 22lr which I enjoy tremendously. The previous red dot was a cheaply made $20 unit but it worked OK until the glass popped out on a super hot day this past July. I liked this one because a friend of mine has it on her rifle - but my hubby was mad at me because he had this last year and hated it (it did quit on him).Well.... my red dot was DOA! No light, no laser, nothing. Without saying a thing to him, I just returned it. Then, I found a better one for $60 - Riteon! And it IS right on! Good company, good red dot.Far as hubby, even a broken clock is right twice a day.My wife bought this for her 22lr - I told her not to, but she'll find out on her own what a jip this is - I had this, last year, it didn't even make it on the rail - it worked breefly for a week, me just playing with it, on off, on off. Then just when I decided to finally mount it - basta! No more, D.E.D. When I contacted warranty, they said oh sure, no problem, except that we don't do exchanges, and you have to send it over to us on your own dime. Sure enough, it went back to the store - thankfully I was within return period. Now blondie is getting it... Oh boy - don't waste your money! For the same price, you can even have a Romeo 5 on sale... this thing'll quit on you at the most important moment of your life... trust me...
