The CE100 improves on previous designs by: 1) incorporating a compensation adjustment function at the Remote unit for greater video quality; and 2) using inexpensive Cat 5e cable, instead of bulky, expensive, standard cables, to provide a neater, more convenient, more reliable data transfer connection.

I recently installed a security camera system in a Doctor's office and used the CAT5 USB Mini Console Extender to setup a remote monitor. The unit works great and was easy to setup. Now the Doctors have a local monitor in their desk area with a working USB wireless mouse to view/interact with their security system. This was my first time to use the USB model but have used Aten extenders for nearly 7 or 8 years. They've all worked perfectly. In one business where I take care of everything IT, I have several CPUs in a heated, clean office with the monitors, mouse and keyboards WAY out in a VERY dirty warehouse. It has totally saved the CPUs from damage. A few simple runs of CAT5e between them is all that was needed. NO video delay at all.Poor excuse of a product. Would suggest everyone avoid this like the plague. Total junk. Works intermittently.. and when contacted tech support (only available via email) they take days to respond and when they do clearly read from a script and don't listen to problems and end support. I will be looking into an alternative product.. Can't stress how crappy this product is.JUST WORKS AND DOES WHAT IT SAYS WITH OUT ANY ISSUES, ONLY CON IS ITS WAY TO COSTLY FOR VGAAwesome
