Does the job. Very satisfiedThis isn't my first magnetic charger, but all the rest will be. My first magnetic charger lasted long enough that I've forgotten who I got it from. This is a big issue with me because I was buying charge cords often enough that it felt like a monthly expense. Yes, I'm hard on charge cords. Since my first magnetic charger worked so well, I tried to find an identical replacement. This one isn't fully identical, but nearly so. I expect it will last as well as my first.Cables either do not charge devices at all, or charge them at "slow charging" speeds. Cables sometimes get concerningly hot near the rotating connector. Rotating connector itself feels very fragile.I like its magnetism. Don't worry about damaging the charging port on my device anymore. The lines look well done with high quality material.Not fast charging! Get something else!!Product works great!! Eazy peazy...lemon squeezy!!!I have an Android Auto head unit in my car, but it requires a direct connection to my phone to work. When I'm in a hurry, I usually throw my phone in the holster of the car and start driving... I don't have time to dig out the USB cable and carefully plug it in, it's an extra step that I often decide to skip and just stick with Bluetooth audio instead.This cable changes everything! Now, the cable is magnetically hanging next to the phone already, all I need to do is wave it near the bottom of the phone and CLICK! It connects and starts Android Auto!I had previously tried another similar magnetic cable, but it seemed to only work well as a charging device, it wouldn't send the data necessary for a connection like Android Auto over the USB cable. I'm happy to say, this one DOES, and it's every bit as wonderful as I hoped it would be! I can't speak yet for longevity, but so far I'm pleased with it. The unit comes with enough plugs and tips for my wife to have one in her phone as well, and of course enough cables for both of us to charge when not in the car as well. It IS a little bit of a finger magnet to have the little nub sticking out on the bottom of my phone, I wonder if eventually that will shorten the life of my USB port or the tip, but for now I'm very happy with it and would strongly recommend it for anyone in my position!
